Family History

Under the guise of paying tribute to those that came before us (actually, I'm just f'n lazy), I'm going to snag the history of the Syndicate from fellow, but MIA, SyNner Doses' more-or-less defunct Outlaws page:

Ahhh...the almighty SYN prefix before a player's name is sure to strike fear in the heart of even the most tried and tested outlaw. The origin of the Syndicate posse begins with the now defunct Kick Ass Posse (KAP). There are many former members of KAP who are now currently members of the Syndicate including: Disciple (who is unfortunately M.I.A), Avenger, Remington, Zebulas, Buzzdaddy aka Steffner, Whispa, and Doses. Originally, the Syndicate formed as a merger of the KAP and CAN (Canadian) posses when they broke up simultaneously. However, two of the former CANs (and arguably two of the top players in the game) Vader and Zeus have since left over issues of using "aliases," or false names, and failing to represent SYN accordingly. Our dear friend and TNT master Quigs however, himself a former CAN, decided to stay with us. Although losing Vader and Zeus (and our only female member Annie to the Saints posse) was a dissapointing occurence, the Syndicate is now stronger than ever with the additions of such players as Monk (perhaps the best overall Outlaws player around), Buddy (aka b_claw, a former GBD member), Robert Slow, Rogue, and Spectre..

Well, quite a bit has changed since Doses wrote those words.  While our origins remain the same, sadly our member list does not.  From what we've seen, the only other ex-SyN's who still play have joined other gangs.  I guess this is to be expected, but it kind of sucks nevertheless (for us at least, certainly not for the gangs who picked up those killers).

So then why make a page about the Gang thats basically made up of four members? Well, because I think the Gang deserves it.  We are one of the oldest group of killers still playing the game, and a ton of famous names once donned the SyN jacket.  For that reason, heres a link to the original SyN site: SYN
